Data Services PCs in Alexander Library Unavailable until August
Posted by rutgersdata on June 24, 2009
Due to the recarpeting of Alexander Library, the Data Services PCs in the Alexander Library Reference Room will be unavailable from Monday, June 29, until the completion of the recarpeting in early August. The entire Reference Room will be closed for most of this time.
Although general public workstations will be available throughout the recarpeting project, there will be no access to the statistical software on the Data Services PCs (SAS, SPSS/PASW, R, ArcGIS, CensusCD, etc.) during this time.
A full schedule of recarpeting activities is available.
Of course, this has no impact on any of our web databases. If you need to request data CDs, please contact me directly.

Data Snapshots inaugurated- World Development Indicators
Posted by rutgersdata on November 6, 2008
While it will be a couple of months before Obama is inaugurated, it’s not too soon for change. I’m starting a series of introductory videos on some of data resources at Rutgers. Some of these will be on important subscription databases, others on tricky or hard-to-find data. I’ll be calling these Data Snapshots. You can find other Data Snapshots here.
