Census Demographics on an interactive map

The Census Bureau has created a new interactive map containing data from the Demographic Profile Release down to the city level.

You can zoom down to a particular level, then select municipalities with you mouse. There are also selectable zoom levels that you can click on.

Census Redistricting Data Released

The Census has begun releasing the results of the 2010 Census for redistricting purposes (including population and race figures). Get data directly from the Census here via ftp, and through the American Factfinder site.

The New Jersey State Data Center has prepared easy-to-use Excel files for the New Jersey data.

Census 2010 data, first release

The first release of data from the 2010 Census occurs today, with the announcement of population counts for reapportionment purposes.  Go to the Census 2010 Data page to get counts, maps, and other information.
